The Round Foundry Leeds
The Round Foundry is made up of a collection of sympathetic urban spaces that comprise office, leisure, retail and residential elements to form a truly mixed use development in an historic environment.
The Round Foundry is the sole surviving example of the first-generation specialist engineering foundries that played such an important role in the spread of the industrial revolution in Britain. In this example of a complex and sensitive redevelopment and restoration in the heart of South Leeds CTP St James has created a new part of the city which has in turn established a new community.
A major e-commerce headquarters building for new businesses sits alongside offices, cafe bars, restaurants, pubs, art gallery, deli, news agent, luxury flats and key-worker housing.

CTP St James was appointed by Sheffield City Council and its partners to provide the final piece in the "Heart of the City" jigsaw that has transformed the City Centre. Sitting between the Peace Gardens and the award winning Winter Garden, St Paul's Place is a vibrant mixed use development for the business community and population of England's fourth largest City. The scheme comprises 18,600 sq.m of Grade A office accommodation in 3 buildings, up to 12,100 sq.m of high quality leisure and retail space, 300 luxury apartments and a 550 space multi-storey car park. |
