| The city of Wakefield is situated at the heart of Yorkshire’s motorway network, with the M62 & the M1 on the doorstep, with three junctions serving the city. Wakefield is served by the east coast main line with travel from Wakefield Westgate direct to Kings Cross in under 2hrs, trains depart every 20mins at peak times. Excellent rail links are provided to other cities throughout the UK from Westgate and Kirkgate stations.
Waterfront occupies a superb location in the southern sector of the city with frontage to both the River Calder and Calder & Hebble Navigation, some of the largest expanses of water in the city and the Weir create an impressive backdrop to the development being created.
Waterfront Wakefield is accessed from Bridge Street which in turn is approached via Marsh Way from the city centre and Barnsley Road and Doncaster Road from the south.
Waterfront Wakefield has a dedicated stop for the free bus allowing easy access to the city centre and Westgate Train Station every 10 minutes.
